Hand-drawn poster in tribute to The Libertines — the Camden-born band that made chaos look like poetry and proved that Pete Doherty and Carl Barât together were one of the most electric songwriting partnerships British rock had seen in years.

The illustration captures the aftermath of one of their legendary guerrilla gigs — those secret, intimate shows the band would spring on fans with no warning, playing living rooms and tiny venues before the police inevitably showed up. What's left behind after the crowd disperses is the scene here: a lucky few with memories no arena ticket could ever buy.

The band's name traces back to a controversial erotic work by the Marquis de Sade — The Lust of the Libertines, written in 1785 — and that spirit of defiance and excess runs through everything they ever made.
