Hand-drawn poster honouring Tame Impala, the psychedelic music project of multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. As a touring act, he shares the stage with Dominic Simper, Jay Watson, Cam Avery and Julien Barbagallo.

The band produces sounds from psychedelic rock to dream pop to accompany lyrics that are universally relatable about growth, relationships, and emotions, all represented in this hand drawing.

Standing in front of Tame Impala's iconic album cover visuals, mostly psychedelic the parallel lines and circles, Kevin Parker is the main character of this illustration, with elements from his lyrics full of nostalgia.

Indeed, many of his songs reflect the personal struggles that humans face when dealing with romance. Like, the single from Current's ‘The Less I Know the Better’, inspired the visual of leaving behind a difficult time with the memories being lifted from his head, showing the feeling of abandonment in the shadow of past relationships.

That personal journey is also represented by Kevin Parker getting rid of memories by throwing a bunch of polaroids reminiscing a love that became unrequited, moving on and leaving the past behind.

In the drawing, Kevin Parker is wearing a denim jacket with badges that all tell a story. On his arm, there is the flag of Perth, where he is from.

The globe badge represents the fact that the songs for the album "Lonerism" were made worldwide, he recorded the guitar in Vienna and the vocals on a Singapore-London flight. He also lost an iPod somewhere between London and Amsterdam (full of recorded ideas), but he finally finished the album in a rented apartment in Paris in 2011.

The WAMI badge represents the fact that, to date, Tame Impala has won 17 West Australian Music Industry Awards awards.

The impala badge is a direct reference to the band's name, the African animal represents sharing a connection and communication between yourself and a wild animal.

And finally, the ‘FUCK TREVOR’ badge has become a known reference to Tame Impala fans around the world, the elusive Trevor became one of the year’s biggest musical memes, and such banners and Tshirts becoming a staple of any festival crowd Tame Impala were entertaining. It stands for the traitorous character Trevor who stole Kevin Parker’s girlfriend in the hit single ‘The Less I Know The Better’.
